#Seattle has been somewhat of a moody, quiet place for me to go when I need answers or want to relax.

My best friend Simon lives there, and some of the first markers I see that tell me I'm close to good food, seashore sights, and great atmosphere are the giant shipping cranes scattered about.

This #travel sketch is done with watercolor and gouache on beautifully smooth #arches watercolor paper while the rain blew in over the harbor, hiding the cranes in the distance.

This #painting is so unique because it reminds me how much I love traveling to the #PNW and #dream.
