Rankin Art & Design Group LLC

Design for the soul, rooted in nature.
Rankin Art & Design Group is a faith-based, multidisciplinary art + design studio creating thoughtful places rooted in nature, shaped by purpose, and centered on people.
Our Christian faith guides how we work—with honesty, humility, stewardship, care, and a commitment to serving others. We are actively involved in Christian communities locally and around the world, building relationships through fellowship, collaboration, and service. We welcome clients of all backgrounds and approach every person and project with respect.
Purposeful Design. Rooted in Creation.
We believe the most meaningful places begin with what is already there.
The land comes first. Architecture follows.
Light, landscape, water, material, climate, culture, and community help shape our work. Rather than designing architecture that competes with its surroundings, we create places that settle naturally into them; framing views, providing shelter, and becoming a backdrop for life.
Good design should respect the land, use resources thoughtfully, and leave a place better than we found it. For us, sustainability means responsible material choices, durable buildings, careful use of resources, and a healthy, sustainable way of working.
Architecture as a Backdrop for Life
The places we remember most are rarely about architecture alone. They are about morning light through a window. A meal shared outside. Children running through the landscape. Friends gathered around a fire. A quiet moment overlooking the horizon.
Architecture creates the setting.
The building becomes the backdrop.
The landscape becomes the artwork.
Life becomes the story.
About Rankin Art & Design Group
Founded by Ryan Rankin, RADG brings a personal and collaborative approach to master planning, architectural design, planning, design advisory, hospitality, mixed-use, and luxury residential projects.
We help clients move from early inspiration toward a clear, thoughtful vision through site strategy, concept development, spatial and interior design, visualization, modeling, drafting, and documentation of existing conditions.
Our creative practice also extends beyond architecture into commissioned watercolor artwork, murals, and select custom classic car designs and builds; different expressions connected by the same appreciation for craft, creativity, and purposeful design.
Craft, Technology, and Client Choice
Our process can begin with traditional hand drawing and watercolor, continue through straightforward digital modeling and drafting, or when desired incorporate AI and more advanced technologies.
Together, we choose an approach that fits each client’s vision, budget, schedule, and comfort with technology. When AI may support a project, we explain how it could be used, clarify the client’s preferences, and agree on its role before moving forward. Human creativity, professional judgment, careful review, and personal accountability remain central throughout the process.
Small Studio. Expanded Capabilities.
RADG remains intentionally small, personal, and design-led while collaborating with a trusted network of qualified specialists locally and abroad. This allows us to assemble the right team for the needs, location, and scale of each project.
Through our collaborative partners, expanded capabilities may include drafting and documentation, field measurement and existing-condition drawings, 3D modeling and visualization, surveying, MEP and structural engineering, landscape architecture, interior architecture, Architect of Record services, and construction support—from general contracting to specialized carpentry and concrete work.
As RADG continues pursuing architectural licensure, we are committed to expanding our services responsibly, clearly defining professional roles, and engaging appropriately licensed partners whenever required.
This flexible model allows the studio to remain creatively focused while bringing together the expertise needed to move ambitious ideas forward.
Create with purpose.
Steward with intention.
Serve with humility.
Leave something meaningful behind.
